Puygueraud, Cotes de Francs

Jamie Ritchie: "I am drinking this by the case at home, as it shows that (contrary to some wine writers views) Bordeaux can still offer fabulous value for money. Puygueraud is made by the Thienpont family (think Vieux Chateau Certan and Le Pin) and they know how to make great wine. This has great balance and structure, along with a luscious, vibrant plummy fruit. It shows the richness and opulence of the 2009 vintage (undoubtedly a great year) and can be enjoyed right now, but will be good for at least another 5+ years. 91" 11/12
